Code of Practice

Grain Trade Australia provides an overview of the Australian Grain Industry Code of Practice, outlining standards to ensure that grain products meet both domestic and international customer and regulatory requirements. It also includes the Grain Transport Code of Practice and offers supporting Technical Guideline Documents to help industry participants adhere to these standards.

Australian Grain Industry Code of Practice

The purpose of the Code of Practice is to describe practices that the grain industry use to ensure Australian grain and grain products meet domestic or export customer requirements. Customer requirements include those stipulated in contracts and regulatory requirements at or State or Federal levels and an international level. A series of Technical Guideline Documents are also being developed to support members meet the requirements as outlined by the Code.

Grain Transport Code of Practice

The Grain Transport Code of Practice has been developed as an important tool to assist participants transport grain to their designated markets quickly, safely and within the relevant laws. It is referenced as a Technical Guideline Document in the Australian Grain Industry Code of Practice.
